Beauty And The Beast (La Belle et la Bête)
Thanks to Maria, I found out bout Poets Who Blog Interactive. One of the challenges, Lyrics and Verse Challenge, is to write a poem commencing with any one line taken from the song I’m Your Man by Leonard Cohen. A quick revisit to a well known children story.
Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et la Bête)
The beast can’t go to sleep
As his thoughts wander too deep
Too many questions arose in his mind
Answer to them none can he find
Accompanied by talking house holds
Too much of the beast never being told
“Never tell a book by the cover,
Have they never heard of it”, he wonders

Change Of Heart
Theme taken from easystreet prompts (#148: hour before the wedding)
Just an hour left to go.
Before the beginning of the grand show.
Audience are family and friends.
Who have sticked through the joy and bitter-end.
She is in her room,
Dress to her best to match the groom,
Who today appear better than usual,
Awaits the moment to unite with his selected girl.
The one who resides in his mind,
But never get a place in his heart,
The one of who he managed to find,
After his Angel decides to be apart.
On her face, crafts a smile of joy,
While his soul is slowly being destroyed,
The bride is now looking forward,
But the groom finds these are absurd.
An hour before the wedding,
He decided she’s not the one who deserves the ring,
For it belongs to his darling Angel,
The only one who brings happiness into his world.
Massive crowd, he runs them through,
Raising curiosity of those who not know,
A lover must do what a love got to do,
To his Angel the true feeling, he must show.
Rush to the place where she always be,
Hoping euphoria will soon back in this life of thee,
Found his Angel being down and gloomy,
Over this non-doubtful painful tragedy.
He grabs her hand and rub her fingers,
“What’s going on?”, the Angel wonders,
The man of dying soul down on bended knee,
To the Angel, he asks “will you marry me?”.

She Is My Angel
Title suggested by beloved Princess Maria, and so as the inspiration for the poem.
At one glance you’re able to tell
She is that adorable Angel
Who pulled me out from living hell
Saving me from the devilish world
And placed me where every man wants to be
Brings euphoric feelings that arose through ecstasy
She made my life a living fantasy
More than an Angel, she’s an inspiration for me
With a burning poet spirit in her heart
I changed the plan for me and poetry to be apart
Her written words are works of wonders
Reading them placed a reader into deep ponders
“Will I ever able to write like this?”
Where perfection is something never being missed
Stories told are crystal clear
Feelings delivered as if I am her
A great listener, she also is
Exchanged my burden with amazing bliss
Her voice, simply a beautiful tone
Craft me a smile even hearing it just through the phone
Words of encouragement, to me, she always says
Giving me the strength to live through the day
I am most grateful to Lord Almighty
For having this Angel delivered to me
I know He have never forsaken me
This Angel and happiness is the proof I have with me.
